Games

Beyond the Stars

This is a drafting card game. I did all of the design and production for this game. COVID put a halt on this games production

Battle Bears Fortress

Lead designer on this project and basically the Director. Made it with primarily interns in the company and many ex-coworkers consider it the best game produced out of the studio.
Handled all level balancing, gameplay balancing, systems, economy. Started a social system within the game that created a bigger social network in company games. Was the check off for all art assets

You can play this game again, it got re-released on now.gg its F2P so no purchase necessary.  https://now.gg/apps/battleworld

BYOB(Bring your own base)

Came up with the initial concept and design for this game. Ex-coworkers decided to work on the project idea while I consulted on it.

Battle Bears Ultimate

I was the Co-lead Designer on this game. This game was showing 4x the engagement then its predecessor at the time I left the project.

Handled gameplay balancing, economy balancing, gameplay systems, economy systems, analytics, marketing and many other duties on this game.

Battle Bears Royale

When I took over this game with my fellow designers we took it from middling sales to making 3-4 times the profit through reworking systems, economy and game balancing. Created a better system for tracking weapon and character usage to better understand how players were playing the game and how better to balance it.

Started community engagement program with making videos and updates to keep the community engaged and informed. This outreach continued on to other games in the series.

Battle Bears Zero: Wil's Finest Hour

I started as a programmer on this title and saw the project was in a bad place and decided to fix issues with the game in my down time. This led to me handling many aspects of the games design. Worked on Level design, encounter design, and combat balancing in the game. My work on this title lead me to be the first full time designer at the studio and eventually lead designer.

Battle Bears Blast

An arcade puzzle game. I worked part time as a programmer on this project and part time balancing gameplay.

Unreleased RPG

I was Co-Lead on this project. Worked on initial concept, core gameplay, core loop, world design.

GameJam games

Ultra Gorilla Sphere is probably the most fun and complete of all the games. It's a monkey ball like game with 30 levels or so levels made mostly by me. I also did most of the game feel and tweeking on this title.  You can play this title and I think its very fun, but little difficult.

Ritual and Ruin is the other complete game that has multiple levels. I did roughly half or more of the levels in that game and this is the one I continued to work on with after the Jam. You can tell my levels apart from the other designer in that they aren't a singular path to the solution.

Swap man? is sadly incomplete some problems with code make it so you cannot advance past the first room. But the repository should still be up and you could dl and see all the rooms I made for that game.
